According to HelpGuide.org, exercise can assist us in managing our depression, anxiety, stress, ADHD, PTSD and trauma, more effectively, in many different ways. It can even improve our resiliency, result in better sleep, foster a higher sense of self-esteem, lead to feeling more energized, and increase our focus and memory. Brick Mental Health Foundation, whose purpose is to \u201cIntegrate salutogenic approaches, such as exercise, nutrition and mind-body practices, into treating mental illness and promoting mental wellness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy this YouTube video highlighting ways to move your mental health in 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 6<\/strong>: Alexa Fong Drubay is a Laughter Yoga Master Trainer and Laughter Ambassador from Media, PA, who learned her craft in India with the founder of Laughter Yoga, Dr. Madan Kataria. Alexa has brought wellness laughter to the blind, to groups in recovery \u2013 from cancer survivors to prisoners. (She started a mindfulness and resilience pilot program for female inmates.)
