Hugh will discuss how these activities are appropriate for various ages and stages of development. This event is part of <em>Voices: A Library Lecture Series<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Working With Children of Divorce<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Friday, April 8, 11 a.m. &#8211; Noon<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Higbee Room 108<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Presenter<\/strong>: Carla Gleason, HVCC Faculty<br \/>\nWorking with children of divorce: how to approach education with care and compassion. This workshop provides information based on current research regarding the special issues that children of divorce might face. Many times it is difficult for students to concentrate on academics when they are experiencing sadness, guilt, or anxiety.
