Athletics Weekly Wrap Up<\/strong><\/p>\n

Volunteers needed to work the 2022 NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field Nationals to be held May 12 to 14. Interested in volunteering, please contact Adam Sopris at a.sopris@hvcc.edu<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Softball: <\/strong>Softball team members are winners of 12-straight games after completing a perfect road weekend with sweeps over Monroe and Genesee. The softball team has climbed to No. 3 in the recent NJCAA Region 3 softball rankings and they look to continue their push as a top-tiered Region 3 program this season.<\/p>\n

Baseball<\/strong>: Baseball saw its seven-game win streak come to an end as the team split a Sunday series at Mohawk Valley, 3-1 and 3-0. The Vikings also swept Columbia-Greene for a couple key Region 3 wins in Hudson on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s Track and Field<\/strong>: The men’s and women’s track and field program kicked off the Region 3 Championships as team members competed in the multi-events (Heptathlon, Decathlon and 10K) over the weekend. Up next are the remaining track and field championship events on Saturday, May 7, in Herkimer, NY.<\/p>\n
