{"id":18033,"date":"2022-05-04T11:40:12","date_gmt":"2022-05-04T15:40:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/covid-19-vaccine-requirements\/"},"modified":"2022-05-04T11:40:12","modified_gmt":"2022-05-04T15:40:12","slug":"covid-19-vaccine-requirements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/covid-19-vaccine-requirements\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 Vaccine Requirements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Returning and new students:<\/p>\n<p>Please be aware of the current registration protocols pertinent to summer\/fall classes.<\/p>\n<p>All students registering for in-person summer and\/or fall 2022 classes must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination (a two-dose series of Pfizer\/Moderna or one-dose of Johnson &amp; Johnson). At this time, COVID-19 boosters are highly recommended, but not required, for upcoming terms.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are vaccinated, you must submit proof to the Health Services office using the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/studentservices\/health-services\/forms\/covid19-documentation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Submit Vaccination Record<\/a>\u201d form on the college\u2019s COVID-19 webpage, if you have not done so already.<\/li>\n<li>If you cannot receive a vaccine for religious or medical reasons, you should complete the appropriate Request for Exemption form available on the Health Services&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/studentservices\/health-services\/forms\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Immunizations and Vaccinations forms webpage<\/a>, if you have not done so already.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>NOTE: Health Science students are not eligible to receive an exemption, and some programs and related clinical\/internship settings may require a COVID-19 booster.<\/p>\n<p>Students who have not submitted proof vaccination, or received an approved exemption, will be able to register for in-person classes, but must provide proof of vaccination in order to attend.
