Bulmer Award for Excellence in Library Research is Amanda Grace Witherell for her paper, &#8220;How Does Routine Caffeine Use Affect the Health of Its Consumers, submitted in fulfillment of requirements for English Composition I, under the direction of Assistant Professor, Sara Kennedy.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-135752 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/BulmerAward-recipient_May2022-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Witherell&#8217;s research paper, focusing on the routine use and over-consumption of caffeine, included a well-balanced combination of peer-reviewed articles in proper Modern Language Association (MLA) format. Amanda self-nominated her paper for the Award, followed by Assistant Professor Kennedy\u2019s confirmation of a grade of \u201cA.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Witherell will be recognized in the commencement program, on a perpetual plaque in the Dwight Marvin Library Learning Commons, and will receive a monetary award administered by the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about Bulmer Award criteria, deadline policies and previous recipients, visit the Dr. Joseph J.
