What: Pumpkin Decorating Contest<\/p>\n
Date: Thursday Oct. 28, 2010<\/p>\n
Time: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
Location: Campus Center<\/p>\n
Details:<\/p>\n
1)\tPumpkins may be carved or decorated<\/p>\n
2)\tPumpkins will be judged on two factors:<\/p>\n
a.\tCreativity<\/p>\n
b.\tSchool Spirit<\/p>\n
3)\tContest will be divided and judged separately in two different groups:<\/p>\n
a.\tGroup 1: Students<\/p>\n
b.\tGroup 2: Faculty & Staff<\/p>\n
4)\t1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded<\/p>\n
a.\t1st Place = iPod Touch<\/p>\n
b.\t2nd Place = $75 Gift Certificate to HVCC Bookstore<\/p>\n
c.\t3rd Place = $40 Gift Certificate to HVCC Bookstore<\/p>\n
Instructions:<\/p>\n
1)\tPick-up a free pumpkin from Ken Dagostino in the Athletics Office (MCD 215) or from Alfredo Balarin in the Student Activities Office (CTR214) any time between Oct. 14 and 26.<\/p>\n
2)\tSign up with your name and contact information wherever you pick up your pumpkin<\/p>\n
3)\tDecorate your pumpkin<\/p>\n
4)\tWrite or mark your name\/contact information somewhere on your pumpkin or on something attached to your pumpkin (in case your pumpkin wins we can identify you)<\/p>\n
5)\tDrop off your pumpkin any time on Wednesday, Oct. 27 or Thursday Oct. 28 (before 10 am), on the first floor in the campus center<\/p>\n
a.\tTables will be set up for the event near the digital monitor and staircase<\/p>\n
b.\tYou may drop off your pumpkin to any table designated for the event<\/p>\n
6)\tJoin us on Thursday Oct. 28 between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for PUMPKIN PALOOZA II<\/p>\n
7)\tJudging for the contest will begin at Noon<\/p>\n
8)\tWinners will be announced at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n
