Information regarding COVID-19 vaccinations for Fall 2022 was shared recently with fall accepted and scheduled students via their Hudson Valley Community College email address and is now posted on the COVID-19 Related Communications webpage.<\/p>\n
This information reflects changes made to the vaccination policy for students who will be attending in-person classes. COVID-19 vaccination is now recommended, but not required, for students attending in-person courses at Hudson Valley Community College for the Fall 2022 semester.<\/strong><\/p>\n We continue to encourage all new and returning students who are vaccinated to use the \u201cSubmit Vaccination Record\u201d form<\/strong> on the college\u2019s COVID-19 webpage<\/a> to upload documentation, if they have not done so already. If they have received a booster since their last semester, they can update their status by uploading additional documentation.<\/p>\n Pooled surveillance testing will continue during the fall term, but will not be required for unvaccinated individuals on campus.<\/p>\n Please note that students enrolled in Health Science programs requiring participation in a clinical or internship held at a third-party location must comply with all health and safety guidelines, including any vaccination or testing protocols, that are in place at the third-party location. Academic departments will notify students who need to take further action.<\/p>\n
