This Week in Athletics<\/strong><\/p>\n Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s Cross Country<\/strong>: The women’s cross country program won its second straight NJCAA Region 3 championship over the weekend. The men’s program placed second at Regionals. Up next, NJCAA Nationals at Holyoke on Nov. 5.<\/p>\n Football<\/strong>: The football team won its third Region 3 championship since 2019 after defeating Erie, 35-13, on Saturday, Oct. 22 at home.<\/p>\n Men\u2019s Soccer<\/strong>: Men\u2019s soccer had a nail-biting opening round home match in the Region 3 playoffs yesterday as the eam defeated Tompkins Cortland, advancing on penalty kicks (4-2). Up next, they travel to take on Genesee this Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 4 p.m.<\/p>\n Women\u2019s Soccer<\/strong>: Women\u2019s Soccer dominated its opening round match in the Region 3 playoffs as they defeated Jefferson, 3-0, on Oct. 22. Up next, they travel to take on top-seed Mohawk Valley on Tuesday, Oct. 25.<\/p>\n Women\u2019s Tennis<\/strong>: Tennis finished runner-up at the NJCAA Region 3 championships Oct. 23. Zara Cole highlighted the team with her No. 2 singles championships. Cole also teamed up with Aubrie Murphy to win the No. 1 doubles championship.<\/p>\n Women\u2019s Volleyball<\/strong>: The women’s volleyball season came to an end after they qualified for the Mountain Valley Conference championship tournament over the weekend.
