The &#8220;Narcan Blitz&#8221; on April 4 will get the word out. Our goal is to train 700 residents in one day,&#8221; said Maryfran Wachunas, Rensselaer County Public Health Director.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-148471 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/RensCoApril4-Narcan-Blitz.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1349\" height=\"776\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In addition, the Health Department plans to visit every municipality in Rensselaer County to provide education and easier access to Narcan. The first visit will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 4 at the Rensselaer Ambulance Service, 901 Third St., Rensselaer.<\/p>\n<p>The event will include a panel discussion with local leaders and Narcan training.
