If you are experiencing difficulty in your courses, please visit\u00a0Academic Support Services<\/a>\u00a0to learn how the College can assist you!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Dear Student,<\/p>\n This is a\u00a0reminder\u00a0that\u00a0Friday, April 14, 2023<\/strong>,\u00a0is the last day to withdraw from courses for the Spring 2023 semester.\u00a0It is strongly recommended that a student discusses the impact of either course\u00a0withdrawal\u00a0or a total\u00a0withdrawal\u00a0with an academic advisor and the Financial Aid Office prior to completing the process.\u00a0Visit\u00a0Academic Advisement<\/a> to find contact information for your advisement department.<\/p>\n All completed\u00a0withdrawal\u00a0forms must be submitted by\u00a05 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023<\/strong>\u00a0in order to receive a grade of \u201cW\u201d (withdrawal) on your record.\u00a0Please note that course or total\u00a0withdrawal\u00a0may jeopardize current and future financial aid eligibility.<\/p>\n Course\u00a0Withdrawals<\/strong> Total\u00a0Withdrawal<\/strong> If a student is unable to complete either of the above via email or in-person, a signed letter will be accepted as long as it is postmarked and mailed through the U.S. Postal Service by Friday, April 14, 2023<\/strong>. \nA student may withdraw from a course or courses prior to the end of the day on\u00a0Friday, April 14, 2023<\/strong>. A student must complete a Course Withdrawal Form<\/a> with an academic advisor. After the form has been completed and signed by both you and an academic advisor, it must be returned to the Registrar\u2019s Office via HVCC email to\u00a0registrar@hvcc.edu<\/a>. The official date of\u00a0withdrawal\u00a0is the date that the completed form is received in the Registrar’s Office. Discontinuance of class attendance or notice to the instructor does not constitute authorized\u00a0withdrawal.<\/p>\n
\nA student may withdraw from all registered courses within a term prior to the end of the day on\u00a0Friday, April 14, 2023<\/strong>. To complete a total withdrawal, please send us an e-mail from your HVCC e-mail account that includes your first and last name, date of birth or student ID number, your current address, and a statement of withdrawal (Please withdraw me from all my Spring 2023 courses because of [reason].) or visit the Registrar\u2019s Office in the Guenther Enrollment Services Center, room 136. The official date of withdrawal is the date that the form is completed.<\/p>\n
