Bulmer Award for Excellence in Library Research Announced<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-148625 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Donaghue_Lukas_1406-1-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lukas Donaghue<\/strong> is the recipient of the 2022-2023 Dr. Joseph J. Bulmer Award for Excellence in Library Research for his paper, \u201cBloomberg from Business to Politics to Climate Change Activism,\u201d submitted in fulfillment of requirements for English Composition under the direction of Sushmita Chatterji, a professor in the English, Foreign Languages and English as a Second Language Department.<\/p>\n<p>Second-place winner is Kiva Block Sprissler for the paper, \u201cWhy Nurses Quit: Factors Contributing to Burnout,\u201d submitted in fulfillment of requirements for English Composition under the direction of Sara Kennedy, assistant professor\u00a0in the English, Foreign Languages and English as a Second Language Department.<\/p>\n<p>Donaghue and Block Sprissler will be recognized in the commencement program, on a perpetual plaque in the Dwight Marvin Library Learning Commons and will receive an award administered by the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on Bulmer Award criteria, deadline policies and previous recipients, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.hvcc.edu\/bulmeraward\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Joseph J.
