The migration of the LMS is part of a larger SUNY initiative to implement a common Digital Learning Environment (DLE) across SUNY. This DLE consists of the LMS (Brightspace), several common tool integrations, a common technical architecture and data integration, and a common look for faculty and students.<\/p>\n<h4>What Does This Mean?<\/h4>\n<p>Starting in Summer 2023 all credit courses will be conducted on the Brightspace LMS.<\/p>\n<h4>When can I Access Brightspace?<\/h4>\n<p>Student access to Brightspace will begin in the first week of May 2023.<\/p>\n<h4>How do I Access Brightspace?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Go directly to Brightspace at <a href=\"https:\/\/mylearning.hvcc.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mylearning.hvcc.edu<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>Or go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.hvcc.edu<\/a>, then select <strong>I am\u2026<\/strong> and choose<strong> Student<\/strong> from the menu.\n<ul>\n<li>Select <strong>D2L Brightspace<\/strong> from the list of available systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Enter your HVCC username and password in the login area to access your courses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>How can I Become Familiar with Using Brightspace?<\/h4>\n<p>The <strong>\u201cHVCC Brightspace Training for Students\u201d<\/strong> course is available to all students, staff, and faculty and provides tutorials on using various tools in Brightspace.
