{"id":20210,"date":"2023-05-22T11:55:20","date_gmt":"2023-05-22T15:55:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/attn-classified-staff-summer-is-here\/"},"modified":"2023-05-22T11:55:20","modified_gmt":"2023-05-22T15:55:20","slug":"attn-classified-staff-summer-is-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/attn-classified-staff-summer-is-here\/","title":{"rendered":"Attn: Classified Staff &#8211; Summer is HERE!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Are you a HVCC Classified Staff member?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your summer hours begin today, May 22.\u00a0 All offices need to be open until 4 p.m. So, if your shift does not end by 4 p.m., your hours should be changed to 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a \u00bd hour for lunch.\u00a0 This will be in effect only until July 28, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>There is no work obligation on Fridays during this period and Summer Administrative Leave has already been added into your KRONOS timesheet.<\/p>\n<p>You have been granted twenty-eight (28) hours of Summer Day Leave which you will see in your accruals tab in KRONOS.<\/p>\n<p>These hours may be taken in no less than \u00bd hour increments and may be used in conjunction with holidays and vacation. They must be used by November 30, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Approval for use of these hours is subject to your supervisor\u2019s approval and should be scheduled in advance.<\/p>\n<p>In KRONOS you will record your work hours as usual and any Summer Day Leave will be recorded as either EO-SD1 or SD1.<\/p>\n<p>Physical Plant and Public Safety classified staff have a different summer schedule.
