Cardona took office on March 2, 2021 as the 12th U.S. Secretary of Education.<\/p>\n<p>Joined by U.S. Representative Paul Tonko, SUNY Chancellor John King, Jr., Roberta Reardon, NYS Commissioner of Labor and President Roger Ramsammy, Cardona toured the Lang Hall Welding Lab, STEM High School, as well as several labs in Gene F.
