\nJuly 31 – August 4,\u00a0 9 a.m. – Noon
\n<\/strong>Take the next step beyond simply \u201cplaying\u201d Minecraft\u00ae and become a true Redstone engineer. Expand your Redstone knowledge by constructing your own carnival with a variety of mini-games, roller coasters and attractions powered by Redstone. Learn how to use Command and Structure blocks to incorporate them into your builds. Activate your skills and take your Minecraft structures to the next level! Students must have the Java version of Minecraft\u00ae to take this class. Tablet, phone, and game console versions of Minecraft\u00ae are not compatible.<\/p>\nBattle Royale Gamers
\nJuly 31 – August 4, 1 – 4 p.m.
\n<\/strong>Fans of Fortnite and Rumbleverse, we need YOU! Instead of just playing a multiplayer game, you can develop your own with Unity, a professional 3D game development software. Design your own unique magical level, build 3D models, and cast spells with custom-created wands. At the end of the week, all student-created maps are combined into a master game where you will battle to become the last wizard standing. Compete against other schools across the country in our Esports League, with the possibility of having your map included in the live game. Student-created games will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family.<\/p>\nESports Apprentice
\nAugust 7 – 11, 1 – 4 p.m.
\n<\/strong>Streamers and Gamers \u2013 Whether you want to be the next pro gamer, streamer or gamecaster, this course will teach you the basics to get started! No longer just a hobby, esports is the fastest-growing career for the next generation. Over 400 million people watched YouTube\u00ae videos and Twitch streams of video game competitions this year alone! In this course, students will develop gameplay skills and compete using Black Rocket\u2019s esports games and apps, learn how to produce commentary for live tournaments, use professional streaming software, and most importantly, practice online safety. Student recordings will be available on a password-protected website to share with friends and family. Videos will not be broadcast publicly, but will be shared with all students in the class.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
