\"HVCCIt takes a village!<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Students from the Honors College, PTK and the Psychology Club at HVCC volunteered their time at the Albany International School\/ Dual Language Program to make a Memorable Friendsgiving!<\/p>\n

The Albany International School is a newcomer school. They work with students who have recently arrived in the United States, providing specialized instruction in English, as well as support for learning a whole new culture.<\/p>\n

In this context, Friendsgiving is especially meaningful. For many students and their families, it is their first Thanksgiving celebration in the U.S.<\/p>\n

HVCC volunteers made a difference, from set-up to clean-up, crafting with kids and serving food. I am thankful for the students’ involvement and hope to see them all again next year!<\/p>\n
