{"id":2207,"date":"2011-03-31T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2011-03-31T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/important-graduation-deadlines\/"},"modified":"2011-03-31T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2011-03-31T04:00:00","slug":"important-graduation-deadlines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/important-graduation-deadlines\/","title":{"rendered":"Important Graduation Deadlines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is a reminder that the degree\/certificate application deadlines for Spring 2011 and Summer 2011 graduation are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Spring 2011 &#8211; Thursday, March 31, 2011<\/p>\n<p>Summer 2011 &#8211; Wednesday, June 15, 2011<\/p>\n<p>If a student plans on graduating either in May or August, a completed degree\/certificate application must be submitted to the Registrar&#8217;s Office by the appropriate deadline as noted above. Please note that a completed degree\/certificate application requires department chairperson\/advisor signature. Applications received after the noted date will be considered for graduation for the following semester (i.e., an application received on April 1 will be considered a Summer 2011 application and an application received on June 16 will be considered a Fall 2011 application).<\/p>\n<p>Summer 2011 graduates are invited to the May Commencement ceremony. This will be the only commencement ceremony that a student can attend.
