Are you an HVCC Classified Staff member?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Your summer hours begin Monday, May 20. All offices must be open until 4 p.m., so if your shift does not end by 4 p.m., your hours should be changed to 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a half-hour for lunch. This will be in effect only until July 26, 2024.<\/p>\n

There is no work obligation on Fridays during this period, and these Summer Days have already been added into your KRONOS timesheet.<\/p>\n

You have been granted twenty-eight (28) hours of Summer Hours leave which you will see in your accruals tab in KRONOS.<\/p>\n

These hours may be taken in no less than half-hour increments and may be used in conjunction with holidays and vacation. They must be used by Nov. 30, 2024.<\/p>\n

Approval for use of these hours is subject to your supervisor\u2019s approval and should be scheduled in advance.<\/p>\n

In KRONOS, you will record your work hours as usual and any Summer Hours will be recorded as either EO-SD1 or SD1.<\/p>\n

Physical Plant and Public Safety classified staff have a different summer schedule.<\/p>\n

Are you an HVCC Non-Teaching Professional?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Your summer hours begin Monday, May 20 and end on July 26. All offices must be open until 4 p.m. during this time.<\/p>\n

There is no work obligation on Fridays during this period and these Summer Days have already been added into your KRONOS timesheet.<\/p>\n

Your workday will begin as usual at either\u00a0 8 a.m. or 8:30 a.m., and you will shorten your lunch to a one half-hour and leave for the day one hour early, 3:30 p.m. or 4 p.m., respectively.<\/p>\n

In KRONOS you will record your work and summer hours as either:<\/p>\n

EO-Reg1 7.0 or Reg1 7.0
\nEO-Summer Hours 0.50 or Summer Hours 0.50
\nDo not use the Hours Worked code in KRONOS<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Full days of vacation and sick leave are still to be taken as 7.5 hours, but personal and compensatory time may be taken as 7 hours with .50 of Summer Hours.<\/p>\n
