All are welcome to participate in the annual Literacy 5K Run\/Walk to raise money and community support for Rensselaer County Literacy Volunteers. The fun-filled event is scheduled for Sunday, June 2, at the beautiful Corning Preserve along the Hudson River in downtown Albany.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The schedule of the day will be as follows:
\n8:30 a.m. – Registration\/Packet Pick-Up
\n9:30 a.m. – Youth Mile – 14 and under; $10 ($15 race day)
\n10 a.m. – 5K Run\/Walk – 15 and up; $30 ($35 race day)
\n11:15 a.m. – Awards Ceremony<\/p>\n
This will be a great family day. All ages and abilities are welcome to take part in this community event to support English language literacy in your community! Snacks, t-shirts and SWAG bags will be available for all participants.<\/p>\n
