{"id":22560,"date":"2024-09-11T12:15:48","date_gmt":"2024-09-11T16:15:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/health-services-hosting-flu-and-covid-booster-clinics-on-sept-18-oct-9-3\/"},"modified":"2024-09-11T12:15:48","modified_gmt":"2024-09-11T16:15:48","slug":"health-services-hosting-flu-and-covid-booster-clinics-on-sept-18-oct-9-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/health-services-hosting-flu-and-covid-booster-clinics-on-sept-18-oct-9-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Health Services hosting Flu and COVID booster clinics on Sept. 18 &amp; Oct. 9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">***Attention Students and Staff***<\/h3>\n<p>Health Services is partnering with Hannaford Pharmacy once again to host <strong>two<\/strong> on-campus flu and COVID booster vaccine clinics on <strong>Wednesday, Sept. 18<\/strong> from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and <strong>Wednesday,<\/strong> <strong>Oct. 9<\/strong> from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.\u00a0 At both clinics flu, shingles, pneumonia, RSV, Tdap (tetanus) and COVID boosters will be offered.<\/p>\n<p>If you plan on getting any type of vaccination, you must register in advance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/outlook.office.com\/bookwithme\/user\/8985407e82c94e10a45ddc7cbede7fe6@hvcc.edu\/meetingtype\/N4-hQVXgskSDfGWTj6ccHw2?anonymous&amp;ep=mlink\">Register for Sept. 18, 2024 Clinic<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/outlook.office.com\/bookwithme\/user\/8985407e82c94e10a45ddc7cbede7fe6@hvcc.edu\/meetingtype\/fqQ_N_dx8E27tG5SLmkTTw2?anonymous&amp;ep=mlink\">Register for Oct. 9, 2024 Clinic<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Where is the clinic?<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nThe clinic will be held in Health Services, located in Suite 270 on the second floor of the Siek Campus Center.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>What shots will be offered?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flu (all 18+)<\/li>\n<li>Flu high dose (65 and older)<\/li>\n<li>Shingles (50 and older)<\/li>\n<li>Pneumonia (19-64 with chronic health condition, or 65+ for all)<\/li>\n<li>RSV (75 and older without chronic health condition, or 60-74 with chronic health condition)<\/li>\n<li>Tdap (18+ with no documentation of previous shot, or no shot in last 10 years, those in close contact with infants, health care workers)<\/li>\n<li>COVID booster<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>What do I need to bring to get a vaccine?<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nPlease bring a valid ID card, your insurance\/prescription card and a record of any previous COVID-19 vaccines you&#8217;ve received (if applicable).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note<\/strong>: Anyone receiving a vaccination will be required to fill out the <a href=\"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/VaccineConsentForm-2024.pdf\">Hannaford Pharmacy Vaccine Informed Consent form<\/a>. Please bring the completed consent with you to your appointment.
