{"id":22606,"date":"2024-09-18T12:05:09","date_gmt":"2024-09-18T16:05:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/turkey-trot-training-challenge\/"},"modified":"2024-09-18T12:05:09","modified_gmt":"2024-09-18T16:05:09","slug":"turkey-trot-training-challenge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/turkey-trot-training-challenge\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkey Trot Training Challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Registration is open for Choice Physical Therapy&#8217;s Turkey Trot Training Challenge (TTTC), a 10-week fitness training program designed to get Capital Region runners ready to participate in the Region&#8217;s Turkey Trot taking place Thanksgiving morning. The program is a full running plan and is designed to train participants to complete their best 5K or 10K.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Training sessions begin Saturday, September 21 at 8 a.m.<\/strong>, <strong>and lead up to Thursday, November 28 (Thanksgiving Day).<\/strong>\u00a0There will be two in-person group training sessions, which will take place <strong>Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. and Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. <\/strong>on campus at the track by the Outdoor Athletic Complex.<\/p>\n<p>The cost for the TTTC is $50 per person for the 10-week group workout course; registration and more information can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/runsignup.com\/Race\/NY\/Troy\/TurkeyTrotTrainingChallenge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Turkey Trot Training Challenge website<\/a>.
