Football: <\/strong>The Hudson Valley Community College football team did not play last week, however, a pair of\u00a0 football student-athletes (Daniel Lozano & Micah Gates) collected national and regional player of the week recognition following their outstanding performances in last week’s 37-7 win over Erie. Recap<\/a> | Season Stats<\/a><\/p>\n Men\u2019s Soccer<\/strong>: The men’s soccer team dropped its only match of the week 5-0 against a nationally-ranked Mohawk Valley program. They are set to travel to North Country on Wednesday, Oct. 9 in Saranac Lake.\u00a0 \u00a0Recaps<\/a> | Season Stats<\/a><\/p>\n Women\u2019s Soccer:<\/strong> The women’s soccer team finished with a 1-1 record and closed out the weekend with a 2-1 road win over Rhode Island on Sunday afternoon. Lauren Foglia tallied both goals during Sunday’s road win. They will travel to North Country on Wednesday. Recaps<\/a> | Season Stats<\/a><\/p>\n Men\u2019s & Women\u2019s Cross Country: <\/strong>The Hudson Valley Community College men’s and women’s cross country program did not compete last week as they are preparing for the final weeks of the season as they head into Conference and Regional championships. They will participate at the James Earley Invitational at Westfield State this Saturday, Oct. 12. Recaps<\/a><\/p>\n Women\u2019s Volleyball:<\/strong> The volleyball team is rolling! They improved to 9-4 on the year and have won five straight matches after they defeated Corning and Broome in straight sets over the weekend.
