Hudson Valley’s VETROC is sponsoring its final full-day Equine-Assisted Veterans Retreat for this fall at Higher Ground Farm, 374 Tate Road, Hoosick Falls NY 12090 this Sunday, Oct. 20. The topic is Anxiety & Depression.<\/p>\n
The equine-assisted retreats are open to veterans of all eras and use horses as a way to help participants find inner peace, reconnect with nature and fellow vets, and rejuvenate body and mind. There will be equine-assisted activities, guided meditation, and mindfulness techniques. The events are free, and lunch is included.<\/p>\n
