Yetto also contributed eight steals, five rebounds, three assists, and a block. Pergola had 10 rebounds, three assists, and three blocks.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, HVCC outscored the visitors 46-31, in the second half, including 26-16 in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Coming off the bench, Mechanicville grad Lila Christensen and Troy alum Sanaiya Adams made their way to the top of the score sheet. Christensen had 14 points, five rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal, while Adams followed with 12 points, two rebounds, a steal, and an assist.<\/p>\n<p>The Vikings faced a tough Mohawk Valley team, which had won the previous five meetings, led by Nataya McGee\u2019s 20 points and Shayla Baker adding 18. Wednesday\u2019s win marked the fourth in a row for the Vikings, since a 2-3 start to the regular season.<\/p>\n<p>The Vikings return home on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 1 p.m. as they face Cayuga. The men\u2019s game will follow at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Men\u2019s Basketball Falls at Home to Mohawk Valley<br \/>\nTROY, N.Y. \u2014 The Hudson Valley Community College Vikings men\u2019s basketball team was defeated by Mohawk Valley on Wednesday night, 89-81.<\/p>\n<p>The Vikings kept the game close throughout each half but couldn\u2019t overcome a 40-33 deficit at the break. The loss marked the fifth in six games to open the season.<\/p>\n<p>Tamarac graduate, James Blake, led the scoring for the Vikings with 19 points. Green Tech alum Keyaton Parks was close behind with 18 points, posting 17 rebounds for the Vikings. Hobbs Herlihy added 15 points, three steals, and three assists.<\/p>\n<p>Amir Smith came off the bench and scored 24 points against the Vikings.
