{"id":23399,"date":"2025-01-22T12:50:12","date_gmt":"2025-01-22T17:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/covid-19-guidance-2\/"},"modified":"2025-01-22T12:50:12","modified_gmt":"2025-01-22T17:50:12","slug":"covid-19-guidance-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/covid-19-guidance-2\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 Guidance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On March 1, 2024, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) lifted COVID-19 quarantine restrictions and moved to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/respiratory-viruses\/guidance\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Respiratory Guidance<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hudson Valley Community College no longer restricts staff or students from campus for COVID-19 and no longer provides COVID-19 tests. If you are ill or not feeling well, please stay home until you are feeling better. If you feel you are at a higher risk for any respiratory illness during peak times, wear a mask and practice social distancing.<\/p>\n<p>Staff and students do not need to report their COVID-19 illness to Health Services and we do not provide &#8220;excused from class\/return to class&#8221; notes to students.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty and students who visit off-campus sites for educational purposes, including by not limited to, health science clinical experiences, externships and internship assignments, must follow the guidance of the off-campus site.
