This announcement is being sent as a reminder of the upcoming withdrawal deadline. If you are not having difficulty in your courses and\/or do not plan on withdrawing from any or all of your courses, you may disregard this e-mail. If you are experiencing difficulty in your courses, please visit Academic Support Services<\/a> to learn how the College can assist you!<\/p>\n This is a\u00a0reminder\u00a0that Thursday, April 17, 2025, is the last day to withdraw from courses for the Spring 2025 semester.\u00a0It is strongly recommended that a student discusses the impact of either course\u00a0withdrawal\u00a0or a total\u00a0withdrawal\u00a0with an academic advisor and the Financial Aid Office prior to completing the process.\u00a0Visit\u00a0Academic Advisement& Course Scheduling<\/a>\u00a0to find contact information for your advisement department.\u00a0All completed\u00a0withdrawal\u00a0forms must be submitted by\u00a05 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025,\u00a0in order to receive a grade of \u201cW\u201d (withdrawal) on your record.\u00a0Please note that course or total\u00a0withdrawal\u00a0may jeopardize current and future financial aid eligibility.<\/p>\n Course\u00a0Withdrawals<\/strong> Total\u00a0Withdrawal<\/strong> If a student is unable to complete either of the above via email or in-person, a signed letter will be accepted as long as it is postmarked and mailed through the U.S. Postal Service by Thursday, April 17, 2025. \nA student may withdraw from a course or courses prior to the end of the day on Thursday, April 17, 2025. A student must complete a Course\u00a0Withdrawal\u00a0Form<\/a> with an academic advisor. After the form has been completed and signed by both you and an advisor, it must be returned to the Registrar\u2019s Office via HVCC email to\u00a0registrar@hvcc.edu<\/a>. The official date of\u00a0withdrawal\u00a0is the date that the completed form is received in the Registrar’s Office. Discontinuance of class attendance or notice to the instructor does not constitute authorized\u00a0withdrawal.<\/p>\n
\nA student may withdraw from all registered courses within a term prior to the end of the day on Thursday, April 17, 2025. To complete a total\u00a0withdrawal,\u00a0please send us an e-mail from your HVCC e-mail account that includes your first and last name, date of birth or student ID number, your current address, and a statement of\u00a0withdrawal\u00a0(Please withdraw me from all my Spring 2025 courses because of [reason])\u00a0or visit the Registrar\u2019s Office in the Guenther Enrollment Services Center, Room 136. The official date of\u00a0withdrawal\u00a0is the date that the form is completed.<\/p>\n
