Health Services at the Wellness Center invites you to stop by our table TODAY<\/strong> on the second floor of the Campus Center from 11 a.m.-\u00a0 1 p.m.\u00a0 We will be providing information and materials regarding sexual assault awareness. Reanna Savage, MHC-LP (HVCC’s\u00a0 St. Peter’s Crime Victim Services clinician\/counselor) will be joining us!<\/p>\n

The National Sexual Violence Resource Center<\/a> (NSVRC) shares the history of Sexual Assault Awareness Month:\u00a0 April 2025 marks the official 24th anniversary of NSVRC’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) \u2014 but did you know we can trace its history even longer?\u00a0 <\/em>From the civil rights movement to the founding of the first rape crisis centers to national legislation and beyond, the roots of SAAM run deep.<\/p>\n

HVCC Health Services at the Wellness Center partners with St. Peter’s Crime Victim Services (SPCVS).\u00a0 A counselor from SPCVS is available at HVCC during drop-in office hours at the Wellness Center located in Campus Center, Suite 270 on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. – Noon for the Spring 2025 semester.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
