Are you interested in building your career toward globally relevant issues?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The SUNY Global Engagement Program<\/strong> allows students to intern with some of the most prominent organizations in New York City.<\/p>\n

The SUNY Global Engagement Program (GEP)<\/strong> is hosted by SUNY New Paltz and is open to all SUNY schools and private colleges. Students participate in an internship in NYC that allows them to be fully immersed in international affairs.<\/p>\n

Overview<\/strong>
\nThe Global Engagement Program (GEP) offers academic coursework related to global issues and a field experience through internships. New York City offers a wealth of opportunity for students to gain hands on experience in the world of international affairs. The presence of the United Nations Secretariat and offices of all UN related organizations offer possibilities for students in many fields of study related to global affairs including education, the arts, the social and natural sciences, and business. GEP offers an opportunity to have a global experience while remaining within New York State.<\/p>\n

Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 applications are now open!\u00a0<\/strong>

Interested students are encourage to apply early, but applications remain active until all available internships are filled!<\/p>\n
