Garrigue\u2019s  installations contemplate memory as visceral repetition of image and  sound. Baker\u2019s photographs examine the brutality of youth through the  confounding of reality. In <em>Historical Past<\/em>, Garrigue and Baker dissect the individual narrative that is written everyday into vision and sound.<\/p>\n<p>Historical Past opened Oct. 28 and will be on view through Nov. 18.<\/p>\n<p>Collar Works, an art spaced dedicated to the support of emerging and under-represented artists working in any media, is located at 444 River St., 3rd Floor, in Troy and currently is open by appointmetn only. All events are free and open to the public.
