{"id":2859,"date":"2012-01-30T12:00:42","date_gmt":"2012-01-30T17:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/entry-level-pv-installer-course-offered-by-wdi-starting-in-february\/"},"modified":"2012-01-30T12:00:42","modified_gmt":"2012-01-30T17:00:42","slug":"entry-level-pv-installer-course-offered-by-wdi-starting-in-february","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/entry-level-pv-installer-course-offered-by-wdi-starting-in-february\/","title":{"rendered":"Entry-Level PV Installer Course Offered by WDI Starting in February"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hudson Valley Community College&#8217;s Workforce Development Institute  will offer a completely online entry-level course for those interested  in beginning their training as certified photovoltaic solar panel  installers beginning next month.<\/p>\n<p>The new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/wdi\/offerings.html#pv2\"><em>PV Entry Level Photovoltaics (Solar Power) Online<\/em> course<\/a> helps individuals from around the country prepare for the North  American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Entry Level  Exam.<\/p>\n<p>The eight-week course includes access to videos of the lab portions  of the college&#8217;s PV-Entry Level course as part of a fully integrated  online course led by a NABCEP-certified instructor. Students are guided  through 16 separate modules covering all aspects of photovoltaic theory  and design as it applies to the NABECP Entry Level exam.
