The Blackboard Learning Management System Advisory Committee membership is comprised of online faculty, department chairs, college administrators and Distance and Online Learning staff.<\/p>\n

The committee currently seeks two new\u00a0faculty\u00a0members.\u00a0 The only criteria is to have been teaching online for a few semesters.<\/p>\n

The Blackboard LMS mission statement:<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

To provide leadership from experienced online faculty to the Hudson Valley Community College’s Distance and Online Learning Center with respect to:<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Configuring and deploying the campus’ Learning Management System<\/li>\n
  2. Recommending relevant policies and procedures<\/li>\n
  3. Maximizing the pedagogical effectiveness of the school’s online teaching and learning environment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
