Spring 2012 and Summer 2012 Degree\/Certificate Application Deadlines<\/em><\/p>\n This is a reminder that the degree\/certificate application deadlines for Spring 2012 and Summer 2012 graduation are as follows:<\/p>\n Spring 2012 \u2014 Friday, March 30, 2012 If a student plans on graduating either in May or August, a completed degree\/certificate application must be submitted to the Registrar\u2019s Office by the appropriate deadline as noted above. Please note that a completed degree\/certificate application requires department chairperson\/advisor signature. Applications received after the noted date will be considered for graduation for the following semester (i.e., an application received on\u00a0March 31 will be considered a Summer 2012 application and an application received on June 16 will be considered a Fall 2012 application).<\/p>\n Summer 2012 graduates are invited to the May Commencement ceremony. This will be the only commencement ceremony that a student can attend. If a student wishes to participate and have his or her name appear in the Commencement program, a student must have a completed degree application submitted by the March 30 deadline.<\/p>\n
