(This means that you will lose access to grade directly from the discussion board on <strong>Saturday, Aug. 11 at 8 a.m.<\/strong> If you want to grade from the discussion board area, please plan to grade your discussion before <strong>Saturday, Aug. 11 at 8 a.m.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Archive Your Old Course<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is recommended that you archive your course; it can serve as your historical record of course work. The archived course contains the course material with the student course submissions (discussion, Bb quizzes\/tests and assignments). It is recommended that you archive at the end of each term, once you&#8217;ve submitted student grades.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In your course, select <strong>Control Panel<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Archive Course<\/strong> under <em>Course Options<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Archive<\/strong> from the tool menu.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Submit<\/strong> and then select <strong>OK <\/strong>on the next screen.<\/li>\n<li>You will receive an e-mail from Blackboard when the Archive is complete on the system.<\/li>\n<li>From the <strong>Control Panel<\/strong> in the course you are archiving, select <strong>Archive Course<\/strong> again.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Note<\/em><\/strong>: Yes, you do have to enter the Archive Course area for a second time.<\/li>\n<li>Select the link for the most recent archive file.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Save<\/strong> and choose a location to save the archive file to (i.e. your desktop or your H: Drive).
