There\u2019s a new Student Communication Calendar on the portal!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">What<\/span><\/strong><strong> is the Student Communication Calendar?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a calendar that identifies what is being sent to students and when.<\/p>\n<p>The following offices post their mailings on the calendar:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Admissions<\/li>\n<li>Cashier\u2019s Office<\/li>\n<li>Call Center<\/li>\n<li>Financial Aid<\/li>\n<li>Health Office<\/li>\n<li>Communications and Marketing<\/li>\n<li>Registrar\u2019s Office<\/li>\n<li>Scheduling<\/li>\n<li>Testing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Where<\/span><\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>is the calendar<\/strong><strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From the college\u2019s Website, click on Faculty\/Staff tab (top center) and then click on Student Communications Calendar in the list on the left hand side.\u00a0 Sign in by entering your computer sign on and password. Voila! You\u2019ll notice the color coding for different departments. If you only want to see mailings for a particular department, \u00a0click on that department\/color and you\u2019ll see only what was\/will be sent by that department.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Who<\/span><\/strong><strong> has access to the Student Communication Calendar?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ALL employees have access to see what\u2019s on the calendar!<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Why<\/span><\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>was a calendar created? <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This calendar will serve as a resource. If you\u2019re considering sending a communication, check the calendar to see if something is already going out.\u00a0 If a student asks you about something he or she received and didn\u2019t understand, check the calendar to see what was sent out recently. Hopefully you\u2019ll then be able to better assist or direct the student.
