{"id":3340,"date":"2012-08-29T11:50:12","date_gmt":"2012-08-29T15:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/hudson-valley-suny-fredonia-sign-transfer-agreement-for-communications-degrees\/"},"modified":"2012-08-29T11:50:12","modified_gmt":"2012-08-29T15:50:12","slug":"hudson-valley-suny-fredonia-sign-transfer-agreement-for-communications-degrees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/hudson-valley-suny-fredonia-sign-transfer-agreement-for-communications-degrees\/","title":{"rendered":"Hudson Valley, SUNY Fredonia Sign Transfer Agreement for Communications Degrees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hudson Valley Community College and SUNY Fredonia recently signed a transfer agreement that allows qualified students to transfer directly from the community college into Fredonia\u2019s baccalaureate programs in Video Production and Journalism.<\/p>\n<p>With proper advisement and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher, students graduating from Hudson Valley\u2019s Broadcast Communications associate degree program can enter Fredonia as juniors in either the Video Production bachelor of science degree or the Journalism bachelor of arts degree. Both degrees are part of SUNY Fredonia\u2019s Communications Department.<\/p>\n<p>The Hudson Valley Community College Broadcast Communications degree program is delivered in partnership with The New School of Radio and Television in Albany, New York.
