The Arts Center of the Capital Region is hosting its annual Street Painting competition as part of the River Street Festival.<\/p>\n
Artists have five hours to complete a chalk design on a sidewalk square. $1,000 in prize money will be awarded to the various judging categories: Adult, Grades 1-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 9-12. Visitors to the festival can cast a ballot for “Peoples’ Choice.”<\/p>\n
The cost to participate is $15 per square. Early registration is encouraged since space is limited.<\/p>\n
