Call for Nominations<\/strong><\/p>\n On behalf of President Matonak, the Chancellor\u2019s Award for Student Excellence Selection Committee is seeking recommendations from the campus community of students who have demonstrated excellence while attending Hudson Valley. Recommended students will be considered for nomination by the selection committee. Our college may submit up to seven nominations.<\/p>\n The Chancellor\u2019s Award for Student Excellence recognizes students who have demonstrated the integration of academic excellence with other aspects of their lives including the following categories:\u00a0 leadership, community service, arts, athletics and career achievement. In the past, successful candidates have been exceptionally well-rounded having accomplishments in most, if not all of these categories.<\/p>\n In order to be eligible, a student must graduate between June 2012 and May 2013.\u00a0 There is not a specified GPA requirement for this award, however, only students who have demonstrated excellent academic performance will be considered.
