If anyone has ideas for the weekly Blackboard tip, please feel free to send them to Bonnie Farrell at b.farrell@hvcc.edu.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Archive Your Old Course<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>It is recommended that you archive your course; it can serve as your historical record of course work. The archived course contains the course material with the student course submissions (discussion, Bb quizzes\/tests and assignments). It is recommended that you archive at the\u00a0end\u00a0of\u00a0each term, once you&#8217;ve submitted student grades.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In your course, select\u00a0<strong>Control Panel<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>Archive Course<\/strong>\u00a0under\u00a0<em>Course Options<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>Archive<\/strong>\u00a0from the tool menu.<\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>Submit<\/strong>, and then select\u00a0<strong>OK\u00a0<\/strong>on the next screen.<\/li>\n<li>You will receive an e-mail from Blackboard when the Archive is complete on the system.<\/li>\n<li>From the\u00a0<strong>Control Panel<\/strong>\u00a0in the course you are archiving, select\u00a0<strong>Archive Course<\/strong>\u00a0again.\u00a0<strong><em>Note<\/em><\/strong>: Yes, you do have to enter the Archive Course area for a second time.<\/li>\n<li>Select the link for the most recent archive file.<\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>Save<\/strong>\u00a0and choose a location to save the archive file to (i.e. your desktop or your H: Drive).
