{"id":3797,"date":"2013-01-22T14:56:44","date_gmt":"2013-01-22T19:56:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/scholarships-available-for-fall-2013-deadline-is-friday-feb-15\/"},"modified":"2013-01-22T14:56:44","modified_gmt":"2013-01-22T19:56:44","slug":"scholarships-available-for-fall-2013-deadline-is-friday-feb-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/scholarships-available-for-fall-2013-deadline-is-friday-feb-15\/","title":{"rendered":"Scholarships Available for Fall 2013: Deadline is Friday, Feb. 15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Hudson Valley Community College Foundation is offering <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/scholarships\/index.html\" target=\"_BLANK\">scholarships<\/a> to students continuing their studies in the 2013-14 academic year.\u00a0 Current students must apply using our online application process.<\/p>\n<p>To apply online, please follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Login to WIReD (<a href=\"https:\/\/hvccapp.hvcc.edu\/pls\/PROD\/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin\" target=\"_BLANK\">www.hvcc.edu\/wired<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u201cEnrollment, Financial Aid, Student Accounts and Student Services\u201d tab.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u201cFinancial Aid\u201d link.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u201cFoundation Scholarships.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Before applying, please note and keep in mind the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Many scholarships require submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).\u00a0 Please be sure your FAFSA is on file before applying for scholarships.<\/li>\n<li>The application process requires one 250-word essay describing your educational and vocational objectives.
