Do you want to share your love of reading with a child?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County is looking to partner with Hudson Valley Community College on an initiative to increase children&#8217;s prospects for success in school and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>The Everybody Wins Power Lunch program allows children from Carroll Hill Elementary and Sacred Heart School to be selected as &#8220;reading buddies&#8221; for Hudson Valley employees who volunteer. Your commitment is just 30 minutes per week for the school year to make a difference in the life of a child. Not sure if you can make a weekly commitment?
