John Craig (Shenendehowa\/Clifton Park) scored the team\u2019s first and only run in the fifth when he was hit by a pitch to walk in the run. The Vikings threatened the next at bat when Brad Adams (Catholic Central\/Troy) flied out, taking a ball deep to the left-center warning track. Herkimer tacked on one more run in the sixth for the 4-1 victory.<\/p>\n<p>The Vikings got off to a better start in game two when Alex Lushkevich (Saratoga\/Saratoga Springs) led off the game with a single, and Andy Kozak (Sidney\/Sidney) drove him in with a double. Lushkevich led off the third with another single, and this time Craig ripped a double to bring him in, making it 2-0. Herkimer struck back in the fourth with two runs of their own to tie the game at 2-2. Anthony Scaccia (Voorheesville\/Voorheesville) came up with a big two-out, two RBI single in the sixth, giving the Vikings a two-run lead heading into the final inning. Once again, Herkimer answered back with a clutch two-out hit scoring two runs to tie the game at 4-4.
