It is time to start the process of selecting our Chancellor Award candidates for next year.<\/em><\/p>\n The State University Chancellor\u2019s Award for Excellence is one of the highest honors presented by the SUNY system.\u00a0 This award is intended to recognize individuals who exemplify excellence in one of six areas: Teaching, Faculty Service, Professional Service (non-teaching professionals), Classified Staff, Librarianship or Scholarship and Creative Activities.\u00a0 As a SUNY college, Hudson Valley Community College may submit candidates for each category.\u00a0 The college’s Chancellor\u2019s Award Committees are now seeking nominations for the 2013 – 2014<\/span><\/em><\/strong> awards.\u00a0 Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit nominations.<\/p>\n It is a tremendous honor to receive this recognition.\u00a0 The committee is seeking qualified nominations of worthy candidates who have demonstrated, over a sustained period of time, attributes such as enthusiasm, dedication, scholarship, availability to students, innovation and other qualities that together constitute excellence.\u00a0 Return nominations by June 19, 2013 to Don Frament, LAC.\u00a0 Nominators will be called upon to assist the committee in preparing the nominee\u2019s folder.\u00a0 If you have any questions please contact Don Frament at x7569 or by e-mail at d.frament@hvcc.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n Nomination forms can be requested from Don Frament or by going to the links below.\u00a0 These are new forms this year.<\/p>\n Librarian Award<\/a><\/p>\n Faculty Service Award<\/a><\/p>\n Professional Service Award<\/a><\/p>\n Scholarship and Creative Activities Award<\/a><\/p>\n
