<\/strong>I am overwhelmed with the e-mails, calls and visits from well-wishers as I wrap up my final days at HVCC.\u00a0I am so flattered at the attention that I am not sure what to say.\u00a0 I am very glad to have worked here, as I have met some wonderful people and learned a great deal.<\/p>\n Did you know that you were teaching me more than I was teaching you?\u00a0I\u2019ll always remember the wonderful conversations we shared while learning where to click and what tools to use. You graciously listened to all of my ideas about the wonders of online teaching and the uses of organizations.\u00a0You made me think about answers to questions I would not even have thought to ask!\u00a0These are the moments that made the all the difference between a pretty ho-hum day and an interesting and pleasant career here. I can\u2019t thank you all enough for the time we\u2019ve spent together and all that you\u2019ve taught me.<\/p>\n I hope to meet new and equally interesting faculty and colleagues at my new position. And if my next supervisor is half as considerate and has even one tenth of the positive energy of my current supervisor, Sue Gallagher, I will count myself among the lucky ones once again.
