{"id":4298,"date":"2013-06-10T17:56:10","date_gmt":"2013-06-10T21:56:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/training-on-the-new-version-of-blackboard\/"},"modified":"2013-06-10T17:56:10","modified_gmt":"2013-06-10T21:56:10","slug":"training-on-the-new-version-of-blackboard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/training-on-the-new-version-of-blackboard\/","title":{"rendered":"Training on the new version of Blackboard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now that my colleague and friend, Bonnie Farrell, has moved on to her new job, I will be taking over training faculty and staff on the new version of <em>Blackboard<\/em> that we will be upgrading to for the Fall 2013 semester.<\/p>\n<p>If you look in the Distance Learning workshop calendar (<em><strong><a title=\"Show Me\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/deptweb-dlweb\/calendar.html\" target=\"_blank\">Show Me<\/a><\/strong><\/em>), you will see that training sessions have been scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 9:50 a.m. and Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>It is not necessary to RSVP for these scheduled sessions &#8212; simply show up for any of them that you wish to attend.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, please feel free to contact me at 629-8128 or <a title=\"m.petersen@hvcc.edu\" href=\"mailto:m.petersen@hvcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\">m.petersen@hvcc.edu<\/a> if you would like to arrange for one-on-one or group training on a date\/time that better fits your schedule.
