{"id":4458,"date":"2013-08-27T12:20:20","date_gmt":"2013-08-27T16:20:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/americanmuscle-offers-scholarships-for-2014\/"},"modified":"2013-08-27T12:20:20","modified_gmt":"2013-08-27T16:20:20","slug":"americanmuscle-offers-scholarships-for-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/americanmuscle-offers-scholarships-for-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"AmericanMuscle offers scholarships for 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>AmericanMuscle is Offering Scholarships for the 2014 School Year!<\/h3>\n<p>Scholarships for $2,000 each will be awarded to students pursuing an automotive major during the 2014 spring semester.<\/p>\n<h3>Our Program:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>AmericanMuscle is offering four currently enrolled students or high school seniors who are pursuing post-secondary education during the 2013-2014 school year an opportunity to be awarded $2,000 in tuition assistance towards their upcoming semester!<\/li>\n<li>Those students who have exceptional drive and automotive ambitions should submit a 700-1500 word essay to <a href=\"mailto:scholarships@americanmuscle.com\">scholarships@americanmuscle.com<\/a> telling AmericanMuscle <strong>who you are and how you plan on using your automotive education to change the custom car industry for the better<\/strong><strong><\/strong>. All entries must be submitted as a PDF or Microsoft Word document to be eligible for consideration and also must include proof of current college enrollment.<\/li>\n<li>Please submit your essays by noon EST on <strong>Oct. 15, 2013<\/strong> for all spring semester applicants. Winning scholarships will be paid directly to the school as a tuition payment.<\/li>\n<li>Winners will be selected by<strong> Nov. 15, 2013<\/strong> for all spring contestants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Who is Eligible:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Only students currently enrolled full-time in an American college, technical institute, or high school seniors planning to attend a college or post-secondary institution are eligible to be awarded a scholarship through this program.<\/li>\n<li>AmericanMuscle Student Scholarships are non-renewable, however, winning applicants may re-enter in future contests by writing and resubmitting a new essay.
