What’s in it for you?\u00a0Participating departments are invited to a lovely luncheon provided by The Center for Service Learning and Civic Engagement, perhaps with entertainment. The big trophy is awarded at this time to the winning department, as well as the participant recognition trophies. (Yes, everyone gets a trophy. But only one department can claim the BIG trophy for one year. The Math Department is the current champion.<\/p>\n
Although the\u00a0History, Philosophy, and Social Sciences\u00a0department is not competing in the competition this year, we are still collecting food. We currently have\u00a020 items and are willing to give those \u201cpoints\u201d to the very next department that signs on to the competition. Just contact Kit at 629-7690 or k.haynes@hvcc.edu<\/a>.
