Publisher John Wiley & Sons, Inc. has signed a global rights department license of Professor Jim Zubrick’s “The Organic Chem Lab Survival Manual: A Student’s Guide to Techniques<\/em>,” Ninth Edition, for LTC–Livros Tecnicos E Cientificos Editora Ltda — for translation into Portuguese for the Brazilian market.\u00a0 This translation of the ninth edition will be an update of the previous translation of the sixth edition from 2004.<\/p>\n

Professor Zubrick’s little book has also been translated into Japanese, and the English edition is in use at many American institutions including Harvard, Princeton, MIT, and, of course, Hudson Valley Community College.<\/p>\n
