{"id":4732,"date":"2013-10-30T19:48:37","date_gmt":"2013-10-30T23:48:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/additional-drop-off-locations-for-annual-animal-outreach-holiday-sale\/"},"modified":"2013-10-30T19:48:37","modified_gmt":"2013-10-30T23:48:37","slug":"additional-drop-off-locations-for-annual-animal-outreach-holiday-sale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/additional-drop-off-locations-for-annual-animal-outreach-holiday-sale\/","title":{"rendered":"Additional drop-off locations for annual Animal Outreach Holiday Sale!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dear HVCC Community,<\/p>\n<p>There now are three locations available to drop off donations for the <strong>Animal Outreach Club&#8217;s annual Holiday Sale<\/strong>:<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Val Waldin, MRV 141<\/li>\n<li>Alice Malavasic, MRV 110<\/li>\n<li>Deb Gardner, GUN 267<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The club&#8217;s annual sale will take place <strong>Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. <\/strong>in the Siek Campus Center. All of the money raised goes directly toward animal rescue initiatives, primarily in the Capital District. (Last year, we raised such a large sum of money that we were able to send much-needed funds\u00a0to a couple of\u00a0out-of-area rescues in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.)<\/p>\n<p>If anyone else on campus is able to provide a drop-off location, please contact Val.<\/p>\n<p>Many thanks\u00a0to\u00a0<em><strong>Pat Kaiser<\/strong>, <strong>Kristina Lewis<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong><em>Animal Outreach Club members<\/em> <\/strong>for\u00a0the lovely donations so far! The club is seeking <strong>gently used items<\/strong> for this sale.<strong><\/strong> Everyone on campus is invited to take advantage of this opportunity to purge some &#8220;stuff&#8221; for a great cause. Thanks to the <strong>HVCC community&#8217;s generosity<\/strong> and compassion, we&#8217;ve always had a fabulous array of sale items to offer. It&#8217;s like being at the mall, only more joyous and a lot cheaper. If you&#8217;re cleaning out that closet or reorganizing a room and find<strong> &#8220;extra stuff&#8221; you don&#8217;t need, we&#8217;ll take it<\/strong>!
