{"id":5009,"date":"2014-01-27T12:45:14","date_gmt":"2014-01-27T17:45:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/middle-states-self-study-report-update\/"},"modified":"2014-01-27T12:45:14","modified_gmt":"2014-01-27T17:45:14","slug":"middle-states-self-study-report-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/middle-states-self-study-report-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Middle States Self-Study Report update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>The 2014 Hudson Valley Community College Middle States Self-Study Report has been sent to Middle States and the members of the\u00a0Evaluation Team.\u00a0It was developed with input from the campus community in response to the November 2013 draft. The Self-Study Report\u00a0is available for review by college employees on the &#8220;Middle States News&#8221; portal.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The next step in the Self-Study is preparation for the\u00a0visit by the Evaluation Team, which will take place from Sunday, March 2 through Wednesday, March 5. The\u00a0Evaluation Team\u00a0will consist of eight\u00a0individuals, each of whom\u00a0has expertise in\u00a0specific areas. For example, one\u00a0person might be a distance-learning specialist; another might be best versed in finance, and another might be an assessment pro.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Evaluation Team will be based in the Administration Building conference room (ADM 290) with a space available for private meetings. Specific times will be set aside for large group meetings, e.g. faculty, staff, students, and so on.\u00a0Evaluation Team\u00a0members will have access to all of the campus, except that they will not enter classrooms in which classes are being conducted.
