Zimpher on Wednesday announced 43 recipients of the system\u2019s inaugural Chancellor\u2019s Award for Excellence in Adjunct Teaching, which recognizes consistently superior teaching at the graduate, undergraduate, or professional level. Two of those recipients are adjunct faculty members at Hudson Valley.<\/p>\n<p>They are: <strong>Instructor Mathew L. Cantore of the Computing and Information Sciences Department and Instructor Jeffrey V. McMinn of the Dental Hygiene Department.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdjunct teachers are a key component of the SUNY faculty, providing top-quality instruction and making an important contribution to academic success and degree completion among students,\u201d said Chancellor Zimpher. \u201cThose honored with our inaugural awards today are truly the best of the best, having demonstrated extraordinary\u00a0dedication to their students and an exceptional\u00a0commitment to teaching excellence.
